Work wise we had a pretty good day as we got the block leveled up and set at seven high with the goal to be a total of twenety rows high by the end of Sean’s week. Kurt, Chuck and I spent some time in the morning reading about Barnabas in Acts and what an encourager he was. What we took from it was that we asked each other if we were encouragers to our wives and children? Were we good examples for our children and would they want to emulate us when they were grown and paarents of their own? We all realized that we have to have help from God and each other to get there.
Kirk had his first experience at masonry and did such a good job that he wants to do some decorative stone work at his home when we get back in the states. We have to also say that if you need block or stone stacked perfectly for the job to be done Chuck is your man. We had meatloaf and potato wedges for lunch, which was wonderful, but the fresh vegetable salads have been outstanding and something we look forward to every day.
We had a great afternoon filled with laughter that I wish I could give you more details of but our women readers would not find humorous but us men do. This is due to the Ukrainian diet.
Dinner was was great, but what really made it was that we set on a bluff 300 feet above the Black Sea and watched the sun set into the water. We are ready for day of block so we’ll post tomorrow
