HopeHouse International® provides a HOME so that three or more ORPHANS can be ADOPTED by a Christian family and raised in their own country. A HOME is just the beginning of changing the lives of orphans.
HopeHouse International® transforms the trajectory of an orphan’s life from brokenness to wholeness by providing a forever family, discipleship in Christ, parent training, trauma counseling and education opportunities.
Why
Human Rights Watch Agency reports: Before the age of 21, 50% of orphans are trafficked into human slavery. Of those who remain, 70% or homeless, 20% are in prison, and 10% commit suicide… Which equates to 100% NO HOPE.
How
HopeHouse International® rescues orphans by providing Christian parents the adequate housing required by their government to enable in country adoptions of three or more orphans per family, thus keeping sibling groups together.
Healing
Soul-Care is a Christian Counseling Curriculum with a unique Therapeutic Resource Kit created by a professional counselor and hope house leader ship to address orphan issues. Its purpose is to help parents identify, understand and address their children’s trauma experienced in the orphanage and participate in their healing process.
Soul-Care participation is a prerequisite to receiving a HopeHouse International® home.
Growth
Learn2Live provides scholarship opportunities for (1) higher education and or trade school and (2) family life and vocational development.
While HopeHouse International® does not give ongoing monetary support to its families, it does present opportunities for future independence.
Learn2Live provide scholarship enrichment opportunities to those who have shown a healthy pattern of personal growth as revealed through HopeHouse International® Soul-Care accountability measures.
Future
HopeHouse International® restores hope to orphans through their adoption by Christian families in their own countries. Through additional opportunities for emotional healing, healthy relationships, higher education and a relationship with Christ, HopeHouse International® is a catalyst for a brighter existence, future and eternity.
