We are the Koval Family. We adopted three orphans 15 years ago who are now kind and smart and who serve our God as young adults.
All three of our first adopted children were given a good education and now have independent professions. Two have married, of which one and his wife are planning to adopt three orphans and become a HopeHouse Family of their own!
In addition, we have used the gift of our HopeHouse home again to love and care for four orphan boys and raise them in our family where God’s Word and serving others is our focus.
After HopeHouse helped us buy our house in a village near Cherkassy, Ukraine, me and my wife began serving this village in various ways. Over the years a church was formed and has grown, and I am their bi-vocational pastor.
Parallel with ministry, our family has developed a family business, an Apiary of 40 bee hives. All the children help us as we make honey, package and sell it. This month, we also have the privilege of supplying other HopeHouse families with honey from our bee farm.
Our prayer is that all of our children will live for the Lord and see him walking with them in even the most uncertain times. We also pray for a good harvest not only in our family but in the garden and also in heaven as we continue to serve God in ministry to our community.
