One day our pastor’s wife told us there were two young boys in the children’s hospital because their mother had abandoned them. She asked if we would consider getting to know them because after the boys left the hospital they would be sent to different orphanages and may never know that they were brothers.
After waiting for official permission, we were allowed to visit them. Every day we came to the hospital after work with diapers and clothes for them. But in the hospital, most of the diapers and clothes were taken away. The boys were deprived of any care and nurture. Losha, the oldest brother at three years old, did not even speak a word.
The day finally came when we were allowed to take the boys home from the hospital where a new, full life was waiting for them. At that time, we decided to dedicate our lives not only to the Lord, but also to all children who were doomed to be orphans and deprived of parental love. The Lord used us to save two small lives despite the fact that we were just a young couple with little experience. We continue to pour into them God’s love and ours.
We have since adopted another son and our children know that our family will continue to grow. Thanks to the help of HopeHouse International®, our home in process will soon have enough space for a large family and all the future orphaned children God will bring into our lives.
